Sunday

Today I cut grass, vacuumed and installed drawer locks and installed baby shields on the stereo and DVR. I also put corner cushions on the stereo cabinet and end table. Found a recipe for a microwave gluten free hamburger bun, click here to see the recipe. I substituted brown rice flour for the flax. Turned out great, Dyson had one too and he really liked it. I wanted a hamburger and got it, yea! Dyson did some filing of bills and I organized my sewing cabinet. I also saved a frog from the mower but noticed a butterfly too late and a;as is no more, sigh.

Saturday - Mommy didn't feel well

Shane's weight is 20.2 lbs, holding steady!

I accidentally ate a spoonful of Shane's wheat cereal the other day, I didn't realize until I swallowed. It tasted sweet at first then a bad malted after taste. Today my muscles around my lungs and stomach hurt like a charlie horse. Not fun.

We stayed home today, I set up the buckles on the new car seat. Washed baby blankets and all of Shane's toys. I am going to start Shane on meats Monday and next new meat Thursday and Monday until all meats are done so he can start stage 2 dinners at 7 months.

We are going to try a sippy cup tomorrow!

Friday - a Day of Changes

Due to extreme tiredness, Shane's weight will be tomorrow!

I got all ready for my eye appointment and the phone rings, they needed to reschedule so on the 12th I go in for my eye. Managed to get 4 loads of laundry done and bake a gluten free pineapple upside down cake. YUM! it is delicious. While I was just ready to mix the batter I heard a horrible screams from an animal in the backyard. I run outside and see SuSe and Cute Kitty huddled at the end of the yard by the fence. I shouted "What are you to doing!!??" We they both turned and looked at me, the same time a bird flew out of Cute Kitty's paws, they had a look on their face like "We aren't doing anything" At least the bird survived. Naughty kitties.

We went shopping and got Shane's new car seat, sippy cups, corner cushions for tables, baby food and Shane's first real shoes! The are a size 5, which are for 12 to 18 months and he is just 6 months. He's got big feet. Pics of them tomorrow.

Thursday - Beautiful Beans

I finished the bathroom! Now Shane's Changing table is in there with all his diaper stuff. I installed a peg rack too. Now that it's all set up we will probably decide to install the new flooring we bought! I did some impromptu baby proofing. I bumped into our radio cabinet and the lamp on top fell down, it has been removed. If it isn't Kristen proof then it won't be baby proof.
Nervous about my eye appointment, hope it is nothing. After we are going to Babies R Us and the bank and the Pharmacy.

Shane is giggling in his sleep. He must of had a happy day! On to the BEANS!

A Wonderous Wednesday

Today I only got one shower door clean. Did some cleaning of the bathroom cabinets. Vacuumed and dusted. We were going to get Shane's new car seat tonight but I noticed my coupons don't take effect till Friday so we will wait and go after my eye appt on Friday. I think I am having a MRI of my optic nerve, fun! I am trying to think where to move my business supplies, finished items and etc. The dining room was my office but now it is going back to dining. If it was do-able I would fix up the canning cellar to hold my stuff and work in the dining room but be able to store everthing in the canning cellar since the access is in the dining room. Decisions ???!!
We had to run to the store for diapers and formula and came back with cereal, cat food, snacks and such. We didn't stick to the list. Shane was really teething today, he also did not want to take his naps but eventally fell asleep. He doesn't want to miss a thing.

Shane tries green beans Thursday!!

Today I washed towels, cleaned 90% of the bathroom and started re arranging the dining room. Wanted to do more but Shane needed mommy all the time. Which was fun cause we made a movie, tickled each other and he had a great time pulling my hair!

Memorial Day

Shane and I went up to my parents house for the day. Dyson stayed home. He cleaned his office and moved my computer cabinet upstairs and set it up. Now I can do some re arranging in the dining room for the table.

We had fun at my parents. As soon as we got there Shane wanted lunch. He had peas and peaches. Then we had a nice lunch on the back porch. After lunch Jillian, Mom, Shane and I took a walk. It was fun. I then fell asleep and mom and Jillian watched Shane. They played, walked around the yard and Jillian sang lullabies to Shane. Both mom and dad played with Shane. I liked Jillian's Littlest Pet Shop toys, they are really cute. When it was time to go we loaded up the car and just about a minute went by on the drive and Shane was fast asleep.

Rikku had half the doggie bag of food tonight. The rest she'll have tomorrow. She was very happy!
