Monday

Today was a busy day. Shane is just like his daddy, doesn't wake up for the morning alarm. Just me waking Dyson to hit the snooze. I mailed a bunch of packages and washed some flannel to make bibs for Shane. Rikku played with Shane on the puppy gym.
Shane drank his first full 8 ounce bottle today, then he slept for awhile. We all went to the store and Shane was so good. He was awake up until the time we were at the checkout, he slept through us unpacking the groceries and woke up in the kitchen. I cut Dyson's hair and Shane was funny while the "Flowbee" was running, he was startled but not scared, he was laughing soon.

Saturday and Sunday

I left my camera up at my parents Saturday and my hosting site was down so another twofer post.
Saturday we rearranged the bedroom and put up Shane's crib so he can sleep there until his nursery is finished. I went with my parents to get the crib mattress, we had dinner first and Shane got to try his new walker at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

We all had a good time on Saturday and Shane slept great on his new mattress.

Sunday my parents brought my camera to me, yea!
I sewed up two soft baby play balls and two fabric easter eggs, the third didn't come out right so I have to cut another one. Next will be stuffing and adding the rattles. We watched the nascar race and during the race Shane took a nap.

After the nap we did some exercises in the puppy gym. Shane loves the puppy gym, he tries to grab the toys with his feet.

We had prunes mixed in cereal and it was super yummy. Tomorrow we go to the post office, last time Shane was laughing in the post office lobby!

Friday Follies

What a day. We had prunes again and Shane really likes them, Rikku tried the prunes again and now she thinks they are good. Probably because Shane likes them. We had a lovely walk, it was so warm. I got some fabric cut for easter eggs and soft balls for Shane's easter basket. Shane played in his Bumpo seat! He was having such fun...

I ended up finding some ants in the house, yay! SuSe my cat had a stick caught in her fur and she thought she was being chased by something so that was a fun task trying to catch her and untangle the stick. Boy I'm tired. Maybe I can sneak a nap on Saturday!

Thursday Prune Day

Today Shane tried fruit for the first time, prunes! He was quite surprised by the new taste.

Even though he thought it was weird he liked the prunes and ate a nice amount. Rikku does not like prunes, she tried it and said bleeck.

Two days in one.

My Internet was down last night so I couldn't post so today is a double post. I had to do more laundry because of some diaper accidents. The jumper was out of commission for a while during the seat washing. Shane was not happy. Today he discovered the mirror on his jumper and now he is fascinated with it.

I tried a new setting on my camera. I will have to use it again in better light. It takes 16 shots in a row and puts it in one picture. NEAT.

Monday Cleaning

Today I cleaned and Rikku was not happy. I vacuumed the downstairs and now my vacuum works since I cut all my hair out of the roller brush. I didn't know I was losing so much after the Shane was born.

I dusted and mopped the kitchen. Washed the baby's laundry and a load of towels. I also baked a ham, when food shopping and did some baby proofing all on 3 hours of sleep!

Shane had two bowls of cereal today, one in the morning and another in the evening. He loves his cereal! I picked up his first fruits so I will be ready later in the week for his first new food.

Rikku really wishes that I would stop vacuuming. I did finish but she decided to unstuff her piggy toy and I had to revacuum the downstairs and poor piggy was no more and had to be "relocated".

My Birthday

I had a great birthday. We went to my parents and had a wonderful time.
My mom made a great meal, pork loin, 5lbs of mashed potatoes and peas.

Saturday, Sun and Fun

Baby Toes!

I had to put the baby toes up, so cute!

I baked my gluten free birthday cake. Super yummy. I have done wonders with "I can't believe it's not gluten" cake flour mix. I use it as a great substitute in bake goods recipes. I converted Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Cake recipe with the gluten free flour mix and there is no way to tell that it is gluten free. Shane was really happy to see Grammy and Grampy today, so was Rikku! We got supplies to finish Shane's nursery. Of course we did lots of jumping...
