Warning - Lots of Pictures Ahead

Today was a busy day. I finished laundry and cut some grass. I realized that my inbox folder was collapsed hiding the sub folders in my email and I missed 2 weeks of website orders. I scrambled and got the orders out. Shane ate and ate today. He had a country breakfast of ham, eggs, apples and oatmeal, he liked it! I am exhausted and I don't feel like I did that much. I know I did because I hardly sat down today.

Saturday Shane and I visited my parents and we stayed overnight. Jillian read Shane lots of stories and that helped Shane fall asleep at night. We saw hummingbirds and played catch. I saw the prize Jillian won on the crane game. She also had a cute puppy named Buddy. Shane was up most of the night so my mom and Jillian watched Shane while I got some sleep. They went for a walk and Jillian pushed the stroller. We had a great time and hope to do it again very soon.

Friday

Had a bad day on Thursday. Today is a new day. I managed to get one load of laundry washed and in the dryer and one load still in the washer. Will have to get that dried tomorrow morning. Shane is still up. I am hoping he will fall asleep soon. We are going up the grandparents tomorrow and I want to get some sleep. I am trying to get him to fall asleep in the crib. We will see how that goes. I tried making hotdog buns out of the recipe for hamburger buns but it didn't work so back to the drawing board. I am trying to find a quick and easy recipe because when I think about making buns I am not hungry for hot dogs but am hungry for them when I don't have any buns. Go figure. We had a nice big storm roll through around 4pm. Shane slept through it and Rikku climbed on the recliner and shook and shook until the storm passed.

Shane is not happy at all in the crib. I will give him another 5 minutes and see if he falls asleep. He is crying and yawning at the same time. I have to get him used to falling asleep in the crib now or I will have a harder time later on. Tough to do though.

Well that didn't work so I had to rock him to sleep downstairs and now it is 12:30am so I hope I am good till morning.

Wednesday

I think I need a week of sleep, 24 hours each day to catch up on missed sleep. I am so tired, again! I organized all but the shoes in our bedroom closet. I have a laundry basket full of clothes to donate. Still have to go through the dressers. Shane played on the bed, sorting the clothes for me. He is so helpful. I am so proud of Rikku. Shane grabbed her head in a bear hug and yanked her ears and she just laid there. She even let him grab her back feet and wiggle her toes. She usually pulls away but not with Shane, They are bonding so well. I got two loads of towels done but one is still in the dryer and the other is not folded yet but they are done. I was able to cook dinner all by myself tonight. Dyson didn't have to cook. I rolled the playard in and Shane watched mr make tacos. Todays feature presentation is a movie filmed on June 21 by Dyson....

Tuesday - Shopping, Cleaning and Pizza

Dyson had Monday off so we worked on the yard. Got most of it cut, just the front to finish and I pruned a few more shrubs and filled up our bins so I have to wait until the yard waste pickup or get some paper lawn refuse bags. So much more to do to get caught up on the yard. We were exhausted Monday.

Tuesday Shane and I went shopping. We needed more stage 2 dinners for Shane and some ice cream. Shane got a lot of attention in the store. People oo-ed and awed and commented on Shane's beautiful blue eyes. The checkout ladies loved his running pants he was wearing. Everyone said he was so well behaved. Shane just sat and watched everything and occasionally smiled. He loved the attention.

I washed over half of Shane's toys and his jumper.terry, He is drooling so much with his teeth coming in that everything gets covered in no time. Besides Terry, Tommy, Toby and Big Tony a new upper canine tooth is coming in. I think he shall be called Tex since he is Big Tony's twin (both are canine teeth). Shane has been semi crawling with more ease. I found some of his toy links in my shoes. He loves shoes. I put him down by his puppy gym and in no time he is under the coffee table hugging a shoe. I will have to get baby gates for the stairs sooner than later.
I gave Shane a bath and he must of jumped in his jumper for a half hour after. He will sleep through the night for sure. We ate gluten free pizza I made from scratch. Yummy! Tomorrow is taco night!! Shane had mac and cheese with applesauce. He loved it. I still can't believe how much he eats. As a matter of fact....

Sunday - Father's Day and Dad's Birthday

So again I was up most of the night. Shane had a present for Dyson for Father''s Day. It's a mug with Shane's pic and a Happy Father''s Day greeting. Dyson loved it. We went up my parents and had a great time. We ate, played games, talked, laughed and ran around. Shane was very good. Only one crying spell. He slept for a bit in the stroller. Figured out the way to use the Pooh walker. He ate and ate and ate. Jillian, Jaime and Doug played Jenga and built a tower over 32 rows, they played Clue and Doug and Jillian played a frisbee game outside. I think we all are tired out! Luckily Dyson has Monday off. Shane fell asleep right as we pulled out of my parents driveway. It was an awesome day.
